Meditation in the East and the West
Eastern countries have been familiar with the benefits of meditation for thousands of years. For many, it has been a way of life; for others meditation has been a way to connect with a higher self.
During the 60’s and 70’s the practice became familiar in the US and research was done to gain clarity about the real benefits. Western countries are benefiting from this practice and incorporating meditation as a tool to reduce a number of psychological symptoms and to improve the quality of lives.
